E-commerce website setup and design

In e-commerce, revenue isn't decided by the product page — it's decided by the friction between finding a product and finishing checkout. I build a store experience that removes the steps that make people abandon a cart.

What you get

What do you have
when this is done?

The list below isn't a marketing promise, it's the delivery list. It goes in the contract too.

Scope

How the process
moves, step by step.

At every step I share plainly what has been completed and what comes next.

01

Catalogue and filter architecture

I model your product, category and variant structure, then design the filter set that gets a customer to what they want in the fewest clicks.

02

Product and cart experience

I bring the information that drives the buying decision forward on the product page, and strip the unnecessary steps out of cart and checkout.

03

Payment and shipping integration

I integrate card payments, instalments, refunds and shipment tracking, and verify the end-to-end order flow with test cards.

04

Inventory and order management

I build the panel where you manage orders and stock, and connect it to your existing ERP or accounting system if needed.

05

E-commerce measurement

I wire product views, add-to-cart and purchase steps into GA4 so you can see exactly where the funnel leaks.

Deliverables

Everything handed
over to you.

On a one-off project, the source code, design files and accounts are yours once it's complete, and you're under no obligation to keep working with me. If you continue with a monthly arrangement, the working copy stays with me so the code stays current, and you receive it in its latest state when the arrangement ends.

  • Launch-ready store and its source code
  • Figma design file and component library
  • Payment, shipping and inventory integrations
  • Order management panel and team training
  • GA4 e-commerce measurement and Google Ads conversion setup
  • Structured data for product pages (rich-result compatible)
  • 30 days of bug-fix support after launch

Frequently asked

The questions
on your mind.

I moved the most common proposal-stage questions here; neither of us enjoys email ping-pong.

Why custom development instead of Shopify or BigCommerce?

For a small catalogue and standard needs, off-the-shelf platforms usually make more sense and I'll say so honestly. Custom development is worth it when you have a sales flow of your own, a complex variant structure, or an integration the hosted platform won't allow.

Which payment providers do you work with?

Stripe, PayPal, Adyen and Mollie for international sales, plus local gateways such as iyzico and PayTR if you also sell in Turkey. Commission rates and contracts are between you and the provider; I build the technical integration.

Can you migrate my existing products?

Yes. If your products live in a spreadsheet, an existing panel or another platform, I write the import script. I'd suggest we review image and description quality together before migrating.

Can you integrate marketplaces?

Stock and order synchronisation with marketplaces like Amazon, Etsy or regional players is possible. It's a separate line item and you need to have API access enabled on the marketplace side.

Who carries the stock and order workload after launch?

Day-to-day operations stay with you — that's what the panel is for. For keeping the system up, security and technical issues, I offer maintenance packages.
